Hockey for Heath

On Oct. 21, 2016, a benefit hockey event was held at the Smg SportsPlex in Warminster, PA to raise money for the American Heart Association in memory of Heath Bernstein. Heath, a seemingly healthy 35-year-old non-smoker, passed away from heart condition of which he was unaware.
Shortly before the benefit,  Heath's brother, Michael, asked the Flyers Alumni if we could chip in something toward the benefit auction, which we did. As a gesture of gratitude, the Bernstein family made a generous donation to the Flyers Alumni Association, which will go back into the Delaware Valley community.
Our special thanks go out to Michael. The plan is for "Hockey to Honor Heath" to become an annual fundraising event. It will be our pleasure to do what we can to support this worthy remembrance of Heath Bernstein that can help save other people's lives.
